uTorrent Turbo Accelerator 1.5

uTorrent Turbo Accelerator is a nice program intended to speed up uTorrent downloads a little bit. The program is very small, with a very simple interface: you just press the ACCELERATE button after starting uTorrent. There are only two options we can modify: we can change how frequently it should check the speed and make corrections, and we can specify the number of downloads that it should accelerate.

How it actually speeds up uTorrent, the developer's website does not specify. You are supposed to see some change if you are willing to pay for the program; however, I myself didn’t see much acceleration. It probably depends on the situation in which someone is using the accelerator: for example, if the Internet is shared between many computers, or if you are downloading many things simultaneously, etc.

If you download a lot of torrents at the same time and need to get the full speed of your Internet connection, you may want to try this application. Note, however, that the installation program from the developer's website includes the WebScout toolbar, and it also intends to modify your browser's start page.
